About

Ritu Varma Dixon, MD, is a board-certified internist with 20 years of experience in internal medicine and the founder of Dixon Medical Associates located in Reno, Nevada. She is a body contouring specialist who is passionate about providing quality, compassionate care that ensures a lifetime of wellness for men and women under her care.
Before attending medical school, Dr. Dixon completed undergraduate and post-baccalaureate studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where she received a Bachelor and Masters of Arts in Natural Sciences and Biology. She then completed a Master of Science from the University of Texas, Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Dallas in 1996.
Dr. Dixon then received her Doctorate of Medicine in 2000 from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock. Finally, she completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno in 2003.
Dr. Dixon is deeply committed to providing modern, evidence-based medicine to help prevent, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic diseases of all kinds.
