A MUST READ! PLEASE take the time to read the owner's manual for all appliances, ESPECIALLY anything that heats up... space heaters, clothes irons, curling/flat irons, toasters, etc. Always follow the instructions and heed the warnings. They're there for your safety! π₯

It's hard to believe the holidays are upon us, but it's already Halloween week! Though it's the happiest time of the year, it can also be the most dangerous. Please be safe. Don't overload circuits or use extension cords excessively as shown in the photos below. Check light strands for signs of brittleness or fraying. Always consult a licensed electrician or your local fire station for advice before you decorate to ensure a happy and SAFE holiday for you and your loved ones! ππ¨βππβ‘οΈ

When you are making your Saturday chores list, maybe leave electrical work off your list ..
Extension cords and power strips can be helpful, but can also be dangerous when not used properly. Power strips with surge protection are your best bet. Not all power strips have it, so be aware of that when purchasing a power strip. And NEVER use any power strip or extension cord for a space heater. Please see the link below for even more information and precautions! Remember ... SAFETY FIRST!
