The Wine Loft 2016 Domaine Gardiés Je Cherche Le Ciel Offer! The Domaine Gardiès wines have been amongst the most quality driven and popular wine The Wine Loft has had the opportunity to offer both on tastings and on the the shelf. However, the Domaine has lost it's distributor in Washington state which has given us this one time chance at some beautifully crafted wine at a fraction of it's normal cost. Here's a bit of information on the producer. Located at the foot of the Corbières, in Espira de l'Agly, where the subsoil has black schists that alternate with more calcareous components, while the Mediterranean winds are the thermometer of a typical microclimate of the entire area. Various vines are grown between the rows, some located in plots that have even more than seventy years of age. In the vineyard, the position of Jean and his son is very clear. Organic, AB certified, to search for the truest expression of the soil and its infinite ripples, so as to bring the authentic identity of the grapes to harvest. The same approach is therefore also used in the cellar, where human work must only be the end of a path that has already traced its epilogue during the course of the year. A clear philosophy, which admits no nuances, but basically simple, because it is a question of making wine as it once was, but being able to make use of modern technologies and machinery, therefore improving it. Please respond to this email with your order by Thursday October 8th, orders will be confirmed via email. Wine will be available for pick up on Friday the 9th of October. Domaine Gardiés 2016 Regular Price $28.00 TWL Price $16.00 100% Mourvèdre Côtes du Roussillon, France The “Je Cherche Le Ciel” is a pure mourvèdre that announces itself with a Mediterranean profile, rich in fruit on the nose and with a soft and tasty mouth. Dark ruby red to the eye, impenetrable. Black cherry, plum, spices and delicate hints of violet alternate on the nose, creating a bouquet as colorful as it is balanced. It enters the mouth with a good body, which enhances a sip of excellent aromatic intensity, rich and tasty.-Organic, Low Sulfites Thank you, The Wine Loft

The Wine Loft September 30 at 9:44 PM · The Wine Loft Abeja 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Offer! Drawing on the model of European winemakers, Abeja was founded on the belief that estate grown fruit not only differentiates a wine but also strengthens the winemaker's ability to make a consistent style and offer exceptional quality. This philosophy has proven to be true of Abeja's estate-grown wines, made from sustainably farmed grapes harvested at Heather Hill and Mill Creek estate vineyards. It is our pleasure to offer our customers a truly unbeatable price on one of Washington's premiere producers! Please respond to this email with your order by Thursday October 1st, orders will be confirmed via email. Wine will be available for pick up on Friday the 2nd of September. Abeja Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 Regular Price $55.00 TWL Price $38.00 10% of off purchases of 6 bottles or more! Bright medium ruby. Sexy perfumed lift to the aromas of cassis, black cherry, raspberry, mocha, menthol, licorice and violet. Wonderfully broad and mouthfilling but conveys an impression of weightlessness; all in finesse but there's no shortage of stuffing here. Intense flavors of red and darker fruits, milk chocolate and spices show a clever light hand with the oak (70% new French). Richer and more pliant than the 2015 version, and also better balanced. The very long, slowly mounting finish saturates the palate with a complex perfume of fruits, flowers and spices and noble tannins. Like the Merlot, this is not an obvious powerhouse but a classy, utterly seamless wine with a light touch.-94pts Vinous Thank you, The Wine Loft

Pollerhof Frau Mayer Gruner Veltliner 2019 Price $22.00 100% Gruner Veltiner Weinviertel, Austria A tiny 65-year-old vineyard, granite soil vineyard. Every aspect of wine making is carefully done, including carrying the grapes in small baskets so as not to bruise them. Piquant apple pip and huckleberry notes serve for a welcome, a well-integrated counterpoint. Almost plush in its expansiveness, textural and polished enveloping fruitiness, this nevertheless carries to a vibrant and refreshing glowingly persistent finish.-Organic Walter Scott Wines Chardonnay La Combe Vert 2017 Price $30.00 100% Chardonnay Willamette Valley, Oregon Bright straw-yellow. Pungent, spice-tinged aromas of ripe citrus and orchard fruits; a suggestion of fennel comes up with aeration. Seamless and spicy on the palate, offering lively pear and melon flavors and a jolt of bitter lemon pith that adds back-end nerviness. The mineral-tinged finish shows strong tenacity and lingering anise and buttered toast flourishes.-92pts Vinous Domaine Guillot-Broux Les Geniévrières 2018 Price $36.00 100% Chardonnay Mâcon Cruzille, France The Les Geniévrières has a very pretty and endearing bouquet with white flowers mixed with orange pith and nectarine aromas, with a hint of pop corn in the background. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and linear with a hint of butterscotch. The saline finish conveys brightness and energy leaving a long finish.-Organic Bonnet Huteau Perles d’Agathe Rosé NV Price $18.00 90% Pinot Noir, 10% Chardonnay Loire Valley, France This traditional method of sparkling wine comes from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. It is a crémant of pleasure with little notes of cranberry and gourmet aromas of delicate red fruits.-Organic Chartogne-Taillet Cuvee St. Anne Brut NV Price $50.00 90% Pinot Noir, 10% Chardonnay Champagne, France Brilliant straw-gold. Displays aromas of fresh citrus and orchard fruits that are complicated by building mineral, quinine and chamomile accents. Weighty but lively as well, offering vibrant Angou pear, orange pith and nectarine flavors that slowly unfold through the mid-palate. Shows fine definition and mineral lift on the persistent finish, which features lingering honeysuckle and salty brine notes.-92pts Vinous,-Organic Elio Altare Dolcetto d'Alba 2017 Price $15.00 100% Dolcetto Piedmont, Italy The 2017 Dolcetto d'Alba is ample, creamy and expressive, which is to say very much in the style of the year. Juicy red cherry, plum, violet, rose petal and spice all flesh out in a radiant, succulent Dolcetto that will drink well now and for another decade or more. What a gorgeous wine it is. Kelley Fox "Mirabai" Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2018 Price $36.00 100% Pinot Noir Willamette Valley, Oregon Glistening red. Spice-accented black raspberry, cherry and rose oil aromas are complemented by a hint of smoky minerals. Juicy, seamless and energetic on the palate, offering appealingly sweet red and dark berry and floral pastille flavors that deepen and turn spicier with air. Silky, even tannins frame the persistent finish, which leaves repeating floral and spice notes behind.-Organic Alvaro Palacios Camins del Priorat 2019 Price $24.00 35% Garnacha, 24% Syrah, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cariñena, 10% Merlot Priorat, Spain Gorgeous, bright fruit with raspberries, black cherries and lavender with some schist. This wine showcases the power and concentration of 2019, an extraordinarily warm and dry year, but the wine has great finesse. There are more balsamic aromas from the Bordeaux varieties, which incredibly didn't dehydrate that year: the leaves took a long time to turn yellow. There are notes of licorice and something balsamic. This is juicy and chewy, powerful, with muscle, pungent and intense but with great balance and very clean.-94pts James Suckling J.L. Chave Sélection Crozes-Hermitage Silène 2018 Price $35.00 100% Syrah Crozes-Hermitage, France Inky ruby. Pungent, mineral-accented black and blue fruit qualities on the nose, along with hints of olive, licorice and peony that build in the glass. Supple and weighty on the palate, offering expansive blackberry and boysenberry flavors that become firmer with air. The floral note comes back strong on the penetrating finish, which shows outstanding persistence and fine-grained, well-knit tannins.-93pts Vinous, Organic, Low Sulphite La Vizcaína Las Gundinas Tinto 2018 Price $40.00 Mencía Bierzo, Spain La Gundiñas is the wine that shows the most differences between 2017 and 2018, when the 2018 La Vizcaína Las Gundiñas feels like a mini-Bonnes Mares! This happened in 2013, and this 2018 is like a refined version. There have been ups and downs with this wine over the years, and this 2018 is clearly one of the ups. This wine is the palest of the 2018s. It's from a vineyard that was planted on limestone in 1910. This is super elegant, a rara avis. Bravo!-95pts Robert Parker, Organic, Low Sulphite Thank you, The Wine Loft
