A Happy Birthday shout out to our Patriarch Edgar Dodson. He is the glue and heartbeat of Dodson House Moving.
This remote control box for the air rides was built by Lonnie Oney with oney transport systems.
Having the proper equipment on a job makes everything go smoother. This remote control box saved approximately 30 min on a difficult move. It allowed us to raise and lower the home from the rear while traveling down the road.
Wanted to thank oney transport systems again for high quality products. 👍🏻👍🏻
Just got done loading a 30' x 45' using 60' beams with bridge lifters that span 35" off either side of the beam to allow more area to add strength to the building. Filler was required to make up the difference from the sil to the beam. Had to pull about 70 cedar posts to make space for our dollies. #dodsonhousemovers #sanantoniotexas #housemovers

Was able to help save this garage apartment that was condemned by the city. Four crib jacks and two 36' main beams helped secure the building to the desired height for repair. Total weight was around 28k with our steel. #dodsonhousemovers #sanantoniotexas #housemovers
Workin on a boat dock in Austin,tx this wk. Lowering it 10" using 17 jacks - we had brackets made that bolt around the steel posts allowing us to lift off the post and cut out the 10" needed to lower down and weld back in place. So far we have just prepped everything for the lift day which is tomorrow - hope to get some video. #dodsonhousemovers #housemovers
Here is a 28x40 in Comfort,tx we knocked out this week. Used 5 crossloaders, a set of 55' main beams, and the kiwi trailer to load and move. It was only a 3 mile move but had to traverse through some private property with some steep hills. At one point we had to use the mack to winch the peterbilt as well as the bobcat to anchor the mack down. Loaded height was right around 20'. Another one for the books!

Had a fun time loading this L shaped house in Floresville. Got it in the air then put the L shape piece on a low boy and cut it along the wall and braced the inside. Both pieces are loaded and ready for the journey to Gonzalez.
