First I want to talk about a very important part of our Annual Adoption Reunion! This event typically brings in the most amount of donations we get all year. We, along with most other small businesses are struggling tremendously trying to keep up with these uncertain times. We TRULY appreciate the massive amount of donations we received at the beginning of this pandemic and they helped us pay down our vet bills a lot! We have had so much support from all of you, it really makes us proud to be in such a wonderful community with such wonderful people. I am so sad that we were unable to do any events this year, this one is always my favorite (next to our Barktoberfest brewery crawl of course 😂) So I am hoping to pull off something online that is fun and interactive! With that in mind, If you would like to donate to our rescue please do so 😊 we are a small family run store, employed by the best and brightest people that want to help you and your animals with every fiber of their beings. Bronco we adopted June 29th, 2019. He is the truly the best dog! So smart, protective, and such a big baby! We actually got him DNA tested and he is Chow Chow, Husky, American Staffordshire Terrier, and Lab mix!
Josie, we adopted her September 19th, 2020 and as you can see they are absolutely loving each other! She is the laziest, sassiest, most cutest little girl and we absolutely adore her!

She is a 3-4 month old female lab mix!
She had canine parvovirus and was hospitalized for it 😔 unfortunately this virus is no fun at all, but is all to common in rescue pups. We do a great job of catching it early/ treating/ cleaning/ isolating/ not infecting others, at the store level but stress brings it out as well. And let me tell you, this whole journey is very stressful for them. From being transported here to going home, every step of the journey could put stress on these poor animals 😞. It’s a scenario we do not see often due to our cleaning and isolation efforts, but we hate when it happens none the less. Why am I telling you all of this?!? Because we try to be 100% transparent with you all. Luckily Dolly pulled through and is now ready to go home to her special family. She will need to go home with other dogs that have been vaccinated (should always be the case for your pets safety!) and we will go over a few other precautions her new owners will have to take, basically just know her poop could shed the virus for a bit and be careful not to bring her to dog parks/daycare for a little while. That’s all 🥰 other than that she’s the sweetest happiest puppy around and cannot wait to meet her new family!!! Also if you have any questions about this virus ask away! I will answer to the best of my ability and if I don’t know I’ll ask our vet! (I know a lot about it and had a dog of my own have it as a pup!)

These two special girls have been with us for too long! Daisy Mae and Abby are both amazing dogs in their own way, but are looking for very particular homes. They both need to be the only dog. Unfortunately that makes it very hard to rehome them 😞 Abby also needs no children.
Daisy’s perfect home would be an active family with older children (10+), or no children, that would take her with on adventures or have a big yard she can run around and play in with her family. She needs basic manners, but is SO smart.
Abby’s perfect home would be an experienced dog owner who is looking to form a life long bond with a rescue dog who is not 100% trusting at first. Possibly a single person or a couple with no children who are willing to give Abby the space, time, love, and patience on her terms to form an unbreakable bond. She is an amazing dog, she just needs time, and trust. She will make a perfect companion, and we know her perfect person or people are out there!
This sweet boy Anikin will be the only cat available tomorrow! He’s such a love bug! He has a cone because he was just neutered, and is licking at his incision 😸 he is about 6-9 months old and oh so pretty!
We will have PLENTY Of cats available next week, so if you don’t get to adopt Anikin, do not fret! ❤️🥰😸 but if you do adopt him, you will be very happy! See you tomorrow!

As many of you know we had a few groups of puppies come in with Parvo. There is no cure for Parvo, the vets can only provide medical support for this terrible virus. Each puppy that exhibits symptoms of this illness immediately gets taken to the vet, we've done this for years. When we have this many pups come in sick at one time it creates a HUGE financial burden on us, the vet bills per hospitalized pup is in the thousands. We spared no expense and get them all the treatment they needed, like with any other animal in our care. We had a total of 12 puppies need to be hospitalized with this virus, it was terrible for the staff and the pups, but most of them pulled through and were able to go to their new homes. ❤️ We take immense precaution when we are in this scenario and go into full isolation mode.We hold the rest of the puppies that came in on that transport, to ensure none of them get sick before going home, we separate and isolate any sick animal and have only one staff member tend to them per shift, they are then not allowed to interact with the healthy animals in the store. We disinfect after potty breaks, and they potty in a seperate area from the rest of the animals, we literally go into survival mode. We were hit hard this time. We have never had so many animals get such a bad strain of the virus as we did this time, and financially it was detrimental. If you can donate ANYTHING to help us with the vet bills incurred we would appreciate it tremendously. Any donation made to this fundraiser will be used to pay the immense vet bills we have racked up saving these puppies. We know our community is absolutely amazing and our customers are THE BEST! We appreciate anything you all can do, and we would not change anything for the world, because at the end of the day we did everything we could, and saved most of these puppies and that is worth it!

I’m pretty sure many of you remember Louie! Well he is healed up and ready to go to his new family! He is being Fostered right now and here is a bit more about him!
Lewis aka Louie
1 year old chihuahua mix. 12 lbs. Lewis has been being fostered by Dog Patch staff, after he had a rough surgery and unfortunately got an infection at the incision site along with kennel cough. Needless to say, he had a longer road to recovery than most of our dogs do.
A bit about Lewis!
He is a huge fan of belly rubs, and is very friendly with people, dogs and cats alike. True to his chihuahua background, Lewis is very outgoing and spunky. He is a very smart boy and more than willing to work for treats. Louie has tons of energy that he loves to exert by playing with his three foster siblings. He does get a bit possessive over his stuffed toys when he is overstimulated, which will need to be worked on/managed by his new family. Over all he is a great little boy that is finally ready to go home and give someone many years of love and fun.
We believe Lewis would do best with a family that is active and will spend the time he needs exercising him mentally and physically! We also think that Lewis needs to go home with people that have had active or working breed before and know how big of a commitment training can be.

As many of you know we had a few groups of puppies come in with Parvo. There is no cure for Parvo, the vets can only provide medical support for this terrible virus. Each puppy that exhibits symptoms of this illness immediately gets taken to the vet, we've done this for years. When we have this many pups come in sick at one time it creates a HUGE financial burden on us, the vet bills per hospitalized pup is in the thousands. We spared no expense and get them all the treatment they needed, like with any other animal in our care. Looking for a BIG pup? Well, these guys are BIG! They are listed as mixes on their paperwork, and at 15 weeks old they are about 25lbs. We are pretty sure these guys will be medium/large adult dogs, and they are all SO cute!

Sweet Willow is back with us ❤️ this sweet older girl is ready to go home with you! She is a 4 year old Pit mix. She knows a TON of tricks and is the sweetest girl! She seems to be fully trained and just wants a nice quiet home to go to. The staff loves her and we can’t wait to see her go to her forever home ❤️ she was returned to no fault of her own.
