Metronidazole is the most prescribed antimicrobial for treatment of diarrhea & GI problems🦠 in pets and a new study highlights some very important issues that pet parents and their veterinarians need to talk about before prescribing this drug.
The new study🔬 from the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine found metronidazole administration obliterated a dog’s microbiome🐶 and a month after the drug, the microbiome was still profoundly destroyed.

I will be semi-retiring from grooming at the beginning of 2021. Unfortunately, that means that I will no longer be able to groom a lot of the dogs I’ve been grooming. If you’ve been on my yearly schedule where you’ve booked for the entire year at least every 6 weeks, I will be contacting you to let you know if I’ve been able to get you into my limited schedule. For all others, you have my sincere thanks and gratitude for entrusting me with your dog/s over the years. You have no idea how much I will miss my clients and the dogs.
I will be keeping the store open even when I am no longer grooming to make sure you have access to the foods you and your pet like.

These two bears were made for fun. My Memory Bear pattern is cute with other fabric as well. If you would like to have a Memory Bear made without your clothing I have some fabric to choose from. We will be opening late today so that I can not only get my granddaughter on the bus (school delay) but also to have time to dig my car out of the snow! Our usual opening time is 11:00, but my first clients had to cancel due to road conditions where they live. I will be in at some point this afternoon, but as yet haven't determined the exact time.
