Elisabeth Meyerson shared a post to the group: Pets Needing Homes in PTC and surrounding areas. November 2 at 4:41 PM · Michelle Good‎Coweta County, GA. Animal Rescue/Pound/Lost/Found November 2 at 4:25 PM · Looking for help. We found this kitten in the woods last June 2019 on a dirt road. We bottle fed him and fostered him and tried to find him a home. Once he was old enough, I paid for him to be neutered as he was indoor/outdoor, meanwhile still looking for a home. He is now about a year and a half and still needs a home. He is mostly indoors. Likes to do his own thing- definetly not a cuddler, but tolerates being pet on the head. We have 2 dogs that aren't the nicest to him. He is spoiled at our house: brushed, fed top grade food, etc but its not a good fit for our home. He comes with his toys, litter box, bag of food and litter mat. He gets along with dogs, likes to lay in sunny windows. He is regularly taken to the vet. You can call and get his records if you wish. Serious inquiries ONLY. PM me please if interested.

We are pleased to announce and congratulate Dr. Sara Collins on her new name, Dr. Powell! She is still the same exotics veterinarian that you have come to know and love, she just has a new last name. As a refresher, Dr. Powell grew up in Augusta, GA and attended the University of Georgia for both undergrad and veterinary school. She then completed a small animal rotating internship and then an exotic specialty internship at Auburn University. She enjoys all exotic pets- including birds, reptiles, fish, small mammals, and other zoological species! She also enjoys small animal critical care cases and surgery. Dr. Powell may have spent time at both Georgia and Auburn but she is a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan! In her free time, she loves spending Saturdays in Athens, relaxing with family and friends, reading, sewing, and outdoor activities at the lake. We are excited to help her celebrate and enjoy her new found married life and wish her continued success here at Dogwood.
