*Important Notice*
Effective 11/18/2020
Under MCL 333.2253 we are no longer permitted to work in the office until further notice. All of our representatives will be working remotely. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this change and will still be happy to assist you by phone or email. Please understand that while we are working remotely some processes may take longer and some services such as processing payments will not be available.
NO PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED
Please note that all payments are due to the Insurance Company by the due date. While we have accepted payments here in the past, we are not in the office and are unable to process payments in a timely manner. If you need to make a payment you may do so by mailing your payment directly to your insurance company using the provided envelope with your bill. You may also make payments by calling your company directly, visiting the company web portal, as well as by downloading your insurance companies app to your mobile device. If you would like to set up automatic payments this would be a fantastic time to do so. Give us a call or call your company directly to set up automatic payments. Please DO NOT mail your payments to Don Young Insurance, as mail will only be checked on a limited basis and we cannot guarantee your payment will be processed in time.
*Agency billed commercial accounts are the only exception to this, if you have received a billing invoice from us directly you may mail those payments here*
IF YOU NEED TO MAKE A POLICY CHANGE
Please call 269.463.6773 during normal business hours, or email insurance@dyagency.net. If you do not receive an answer please leave a message so that the first available representative can contact you. Please do not contact the insurance company directly as they will only redirect you back to our office. None of our companies accept change requests that do not come from the agent. Messages should include your name, call back number, and a brief description of why you are calling. Please note that no change can be implemented from information left on a voicemail message. All changes can be back dated to the date of your message, but no change can be processed until direct contact has been made.
IF YOU NEED TO REPORT A CLAIM
To report a claim please call 269.463.6773 between the hours of 8 and 5, Monday through Friday. If nobody is available to accept the call, please leave a message and we will contact you as soon as possible. If you have an emergency claim that requires immediate attention please contact your insurance company directly.
