Coconete or ConConete, (as they call it in the Dominican Republic), is a nostalgic food. It has a rustic texture and it is made of coconut, flour, and sugar. This is fresh baked Vegan cookie, that goes well with coffee or milk for breakfast or an afternoon snack. I call it “nostalgic food” because it will flood you with such vivid, emotional memories of people and places in your past, especially in the Dominican Republic.
