Continuing our Pan American Life building renovation, an elevator ride to the 11th floor reveals a whole new look to the public spaces, which include a 30,000 sf conference center, training rooms and an auditorium. The upgraded cafeteria features inviting dining spaces in a new contemporary design. Congrats to our great team including Stirling Properties and Greenleaf Lawson Architects.
If you haven’t been inside the Pan American Life Center in downtown New Orleans recently, you’re in for a WOW! DFC worked with Stirling Properties and Greenleaf Lawson Architects to renovate the lobby with a bright, light, beautiful new look to welcome its tenants and guests.
Getting out of the ground can be the toughest part of construction when Mother Nature doesn't cooperate. Here's hoping for a stretch of dry weather in Southwest Louisiana so these buildings take shape!

Mother nature has finally cut us some slack and we have foundations! When designing purpose-built assisted living and memory care homes, the layout of the homes plays an integral role when considering the big picture of patient care. For Sage Oak in Lake Charles, LA, its design role creates optimal sightlines for staff, while avoiding long hallways - overall reducing falls, and confusion while making it feel like home. 🤞🏻 we see more sunny days to update you again soon on this one.

We are hoping to get the slab poured today for our new 9,000 square foot Wide Format addition.
Bonjour, mes amis! DonahueFavret has kicked off the renovation of the former Priestley Junior High School in New Orleans to become the new Lycée Français de la Nouvelle Orléans high school campus. DFC will renovate and restore the historic building and the gymnasium and add a digital media center for the French immersion public charter school. Eskew Dumez Ripple provided the architectural services.

Maura Donahue, Executive Vice President of DonahueFavret Contractors, was presented with the Dennis Sheehan Award by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce at the recent virtual meeting of the Chamber Board of Directors. The award, named in honor of former Chamber chairman Dennis Sheehan, is presented to the person or organization who exemplifies outstanding leadership and commitment to the American business community through their service to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. There have been 15 recipients since the award was established in 1999.
Also at the meeting, Maura completed her second term as Chair of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, serving previously in 2005-2006. She was the first woman and the first Louisianan to serve as Chair, and the third person in the history of the Chamber to serve more than one term.

Another beautiful day working with Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West on two Women Build homes in Mandeville. One crew installed roof trusses while another installed soffit and siding. Our staff loves this annual event!
This project is zipping right along!

Our new 9,000 square foot Large Format facility is coming along unbelievably fast with the great weather. We should be moving in the first of March. #thinkbigprintbig
DFC has been deeply involved with GNO, Inc. for many years, both with the Board of Directors and NextGen. Today's meeting was held in the auditorium at the Pan American Life building, part of a $3.5 million renovation of the lobby and 11th floor which DFC recently completed with Stirling Properties and Greenleaf Lawson Architects. It's fun when we get to see the fruits of our labor in use!

Priestley progress update: We are excited to share that the addition next to the historic Priestley building has been delineated and cleared to begin construction shortly. Additionally, we are in the process of identifying a vendor to furnish the building. So much is being done behind the scenes to prepare this new state-of-the-art building for our deserving students.
