Here at Don't Smoke Me Box, we are committed to helping the environment and teaching people about the benefits Hemp has to offer. Like most stigmas, Hemp has been incorrectly labeled the same as 'Marijuana.' While they do come from the same plant, they are farmed differently, as the female plants produce a 'bud' where Marijuana is harvested from, and the male plants that lack the bud are harvested for Hemp. Hemp is a very versatile plant with many uses. Anything that is made from trees can be made out of Hemp. Every year, 15 billion trees are cut down for commercial use. If we substitute Hemp, not only would we be saving those trees, but production of those products would increase. Hemp takes less time to grow, uses less water than cotton, and is a natural pesticide. It also makes a great rotation crop as it purifies the soil. Our ultimate mission with Don't Smoke Me Box is to get every American household converted to using Hemp in their everyday lives. The more consumers who show interest in the production of Hemp products, the less we rely on the trees our planet needs. The faster we make the change to commercial products being made out of Hemp, the faster we can reverse climate change.
