Dr. Thorley grew up in Murfreesboro, TN. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at Duke University, graduating magna cum laude. She was also included into Phi Beta Kappa. For her medical training, Dr. Thorley attended medical school at Vanderbilt University and in 2011 completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Vanderbilt as well. Dr. Thorley is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Currently she serves on the advisory board for the Medical Christian Fellowship in Nashville. Dr. Thorley enjoys seeing medicine in other countries. In 2004 she traveled to Peru for a medical missions trip and then in 2011 went to New Zealand for a month to learn international medicine. Dr. Thorley joined CSIMP in August 2011 and is excited to take care of people of all ages. She especially enjoys taking care of all members of a family and cultivating a relationship with each patient. In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking, baking, traveling and cheering for Duke.
