Dr. Li graduated from Northwestern University in 2003 with a BA in Psychology. Afterwards, he attended medical school at Wake Forest University, graduating in 2007. He completed a residency in general pediatrics at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in 2010 and a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in 2013. He joined the faculty as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA in 2013.
Dr. Li cares for all pulmonary patients, and has a special interest in the care of children with complex and chronic pulmonary issues, including cystic fibrosis, home mechanical ventilator, neuromuscular disease, and bronchopulmonary dysplasia.
In addition to caring for patients directly, he is the Director of the UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital Pediatric and Adult CF Center, Director of the UCLA Multidisciplinary Children's Lung Disease Clinic, and Clinical Director for the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology.
