Greetings and Happy New Year.
We have some exciting news as we begin the 19th year of the practice! Our name has changed to
Blane Advisory Group, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC. As many of you know, I lost my father in December 2018. He taught me important lessons in business, financial security, and life. We also share a middle name, Blane.
Transitioning to Blane Advisory Group serves as a legacy and symbolizes our work with clients in generational planning. It is also a focus on the Team. We have well trained employees to assist you directly and indirectly. Our Practice provides you, and those you care about, personal financial advice, planning, and professional asset management.
We have an aggressive goal to help more families during these challenging times and ask you for introductions where appropriate.
Additional updates from Blane Advisory Group:
• Semi-Annual Practice Update. Keep an eye out for our new Semi-Annual Practice Update email which will focus on the Practice, team, technology and other important items.
• Texting. We’ve added a texting feature to our service model to notify you of important tasks or dates. Expect to see a text from us soon from (470) 837-3100. Please save this number as Blane Advisory Group.
• Virtual Meetings. We continue to hold meetings virtually through Microsoft Teams, and will add in-person visits when it becomes safe to do so. Teams provides a robust and secure platform for us to have our important conversations, and your feedback has been that you love the experience.
We know it has been a challenging time for you and your families. Sheri, T.J., Zach, and I are honored to work with you and provide advice and planning. Many of us have learned firsthand the importance of cash reserves, protection planning, and having estate documents in place. As my father would say during challenging times: This too shall pass.
Sincerely,
Douglas B. Roberts, CFP®, MBA, CRPC®
