Most women do not like the little hairs that grow on their toes. Did you know that hair is a good thing though? Those little hairs mean that you have pretty good circulation!
If you do notice a decrease in the hair growth on your toes or lower legs, you may need a circulation test. Reach out to your provider to discuss setting that up.

People who suffer from diabetes are at a greater risk of foot related complications such as neuropathy, calluses, ulcers and trouble with wound healing, poor circulation and even amputation. Q: Was there a female in your life that inspired your career choice?
A: To be honest, I did not know many female surgeons growing up. But I knew at a young age that there needed to be more female surgeons/physicians and I wanted to be one of them!
Q: What kind of patients do you prefer to see in the office?
A: What I love about podiatry is that you get the chance to see patients of all ages from all different backgrounds. I do have a special place in my heart for the pediatric patients though. If they have seen the movie Frozen, they prefer to call me “Dr. Anna”!
