Bernard Schrager, M.D., FACC, is a cardiologist at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute who has more than 35 years of experience in his field. He specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of complex cardiovascular disease and its risk factors. He has been involved in clinical research studies to improve the efficacy and safety of treatments for cardiovascular disease. Dr. Schrager has extensive experience as an educator, serving for many years as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and a clinical instructor at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, he is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Heart Association.
