Good morning Haslet Families, We are experiencing phone outages this morning. If you have an appt this morning - if you are unable to get through by phone or text for check-in, one masked person may enter the building to check- in. If you are trying to reach us by phone for questions or appts or any other needs - we are working to get this back up and consistent. You may dial our number and be surprised by the message stating Heritage clinic - rest assured that you have called the correct number - they are assisting us this morning. ✅HTT with Dr.SO✅ Covid 🦠 numbers are on the rise again in Tarrant County and as we see the numbers in the community rise we unfortunately have seen a significant rise in positive cases at Cook Childrens. This is very alarming and we need to all do our part to flatten the curve. Things that need to be done to prevent further transmission of Covid 19: 🟢 stay home when possible, go out only for necessary errands/work 🟢wear a mask 😷 when going outside your home 🟢 wash hands often with soap 🧼 and water 💦 or alcohol based hand sanitizer when soap/water is not available 🔴 do NOT host/attend parties/gatherings with people that live outside your home (remember those drive thru style celebrations from March/April ❓it’s a good time to consider these safer alternatives) 🔴 do NOT go to work/run errands if you are feeling ill🤒 , do NOT send your children to school, if they are feeling ill 🤧 🤒 We are in a very critical point right now and if we continue on this path the situation will only worsen. #StopTheSpreadOfCOVID19 Stay safe, Dr.Soria-Olmos CHECKUPNEWSROOM.COM COVID-19 Cases Hit Record High as Virus Spreads Among Children and Adults

Wishing our patients and their families a safe and happy Thanksgiving 🍽🍁🦃
Cook Children's November 25 at 11:18 AM · What are you thankful for? This question now holds more weight and may be a little difficult to answer after an unimaginable year. Each Thanksgiving, we ask some of our amazing patients (and facility dogs) to share their perspective on thankfulness and we hope it reminds you that love and joy come from the smallest things. To honor our healthcare heroes and essential workers, we invite you to fill in the blank and share what or who you are thankful for. From all of us at Cook Children’s, we wish you a healthy and happy Thanksgiving!

😷 mask update from Cook Children’s Cook Children's March 3 at 10:03 AM · Wearing masks will continue to be required at all Cook Children's locations. In light of recent announcements from city, county and state officials around mask mandates, we wanted to share the following: Masks are still required for everyone entering a Cook Children’s location, including caregivers and employees, and those who have been vaccinated. Why are we doing this? · We are continuing to follow the guidelines and recommendations from the CDC, other science-based organizations, and our medical experts. · More infectious variants are circulating in Texas, and millions more people need to be vaccinated. · We know that wearing masks work in preventing the spread of COVID-19. Thank you for understanding, and for helping us protect our patients, families and employees.
