Dr. Jochim says, "The best part of pediatric dentistry is the interactions with the children and the ability to develop long-term relationships with the families. Pediatric dentistry represents a profession in which I can have a profound impact on the oral health and development of young children. My goal is to provide high quality, evidence-based dentistry in a non-threatening, family friendly environment that promotes life-long oral health through education, prevention and positive dental experiences."
After graduating from Pacific Lutheran University, Dr. Jochim received his Dental Degree from the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, from which he also was awarded a Certificate in Public Health Management. He then earned his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the OHSU School of Dentistry. He’s a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Oregon Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Oregon Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Jochim says, "I am married with a two-year old daughter and a little boy on the way. I enjoy outdoor activities such as running, biking, and golf. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends whenever possible."
