Dr. Dorothy Gaine is a dedicated and loving person brave enough to meet the challenge of helping others with addictions, disorders, fears and phobias, agoraphobia and PTSD.
I am located on the border of Ventura County and Los Angeles. Live in a quiet community a suburb of Thousand Oaks. I Treat the most difficult to treat disorders with success in 6-8 sessions and guaranteed. I am an original New Yorker. Last position was at Rockland State Psychiatric Hospital and I also taught The Effects of Drugs on Brain and Behavior to grads and under graduate students at Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. My belief is: We are like snowflakes everyone is different. Thus, it is important to meet the individual as a special and unique human being. I believe I am known as somewhat of an expert in the field of addictions, although I treat difficult to treat disorders such as; multiple personalities, anxiety and depression, PTSD, agouraphobia, sexual fetishes, etc. I am also a non profit agency: Helping Hands Assisted Home Care/Gaine Institute and raise money to help provide care givers for our wounded vets. I have trained and supervised Drs. Nurses, Counselors, etc. as an approved provider for the BBS.
