Dr. Eliaz Kaufman is a dentist, periodontist, implantologist, and oral surgeon with a private practice in New York City. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery and his Master of Science in periodontics from Columbia University, he completed a postgraduate program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including advanced training in oral diagnosis, oral pathology, and oral medicine. He then worked as a professor in the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine before opening his new private practice, 286 Madison Dental. Now, he works with several continuing education programs, and trains new dentists and residents in the field of implant surgery. He’s a committed and caring dentist, who works at the forefront of modern dentistry. Outside of work, he’s also an enthusiastic runner and participates in multiple marathons every year around the country. At his practice, he offers a patient-oriented approach to care and places a particular emphasis on listening to the individual and focusing on the whole person—not just their dental problems.
