Guilherme Rabinowits, M.D. is a medical oncologist/hematologist specialized in the treatment of head and neck cancer and non-melanoma skin cancers. He is a recognized expert in the treatment of Merkel cell carcinoma—a rare form of skin cancer. He served as a member of Harvard Medical School’s clinical faculty for six years, training medical students, residents and oncology fellows. Dr. Rabinowits served as the Co-Director of the Merkel Cell Carcinoma Center of Excellence at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. During his work at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, he conducted several clinical and translational research trials and led the efforts to develop Head and Neck Oncology Pathways, which guides oncology practitioners in the delivery of evidence-based treatment for head and neck cancer.
Dr. Rabinowits is an editorial reviewer for several peer-reviewed scientific journals. He is widely published in numerous medical journals and is an invited presenter at scientific conferences. He is fluent in English and Portuguese.
