Dr. Jessica Sparks Lilley will serve as Director of Hyperlipidemia and as a pediatric endocrinologist for North Mississippi and the Delta. Dr. Lilley is a native Mississippian and graduated from Mississippi State University Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine with her Medical Degree (M.D.). She completed her pediatric residency from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she was also named Humanitarian of the Year, and her fellowship in pediatric endocrinology and lipidology from Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Dr. Lilley is board certified in pediatric endocrinology and pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Lilley’s professional passions include Type 1 Diabetes and inherited lipid disorders. She became interested in pediatric endocrinology at a young age after seeing her beloved cousins live successfully with their endocrine disorders, including Type 1 diabetes, Addison’s disease, hypothyroidism, and growth hormone deficiency. She serves on the board of directors for the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi, is a pianist who plays regularly for her church and enjoys hiking, adventures with her family, reading and Mississippi State athletics. Dr. Lilley is married to Smith, a pastor at Tupelo First United Methodist Church, and has two daughters, Emelyn and Abigail.
