Maxx Kusper is an 11 year old Brookfield boy who was struck by a train on March 28th. Please consider donating money to aid in Maxx’s recovery. It is amazing to see all the blue ribbons around the trees and to hear about the 5th graders in his class who shaved their heads in support of Max after he had to have his head shaved for surgery! Every dollar helps. Thank you in advance! https://www.gofundme.com/f/48tt2-maxx-strong GOFUNDME.COM Maxx Strong organized by Jimmy Ralph

The little round black area on this diagnostic ultrasound is a ganglion cyst. Ganglion cysts come from tendons or joints and are filled with fluid. Ganglions can form on any tendon or any joint in the foot. The cysts vary in size. They feel very hard when you touch them, but when you look with ultrasound or MRI, they are actually filled with fluid. They are treated by either aspiration or surgical removal. They can be painful. Most of the time, they are benign. Very rarely, they can be actually be a cancer called synovial cell sarcoma, which can be deadly. Better to be safe than sorry and have any lumps or bumps on your foot or ankle checked out by a podiatrist - preferably me! 😆
We just wanted to remind everyone that deductibles will be back on January 1st, so come in and get your new orthotics before the end of the year!
