Laxmi Naik is a board certified emergency medicine physician and board certified in integrative and holistic medicine. Her approach is to address the root cause of one’s illness and not just symptomatic relief of disease manifestation.
While practicing emergency medicine and then subsequently urgent care medicine, Dr. Naik pursued integrative medicine to find solutions for her own early autoimmune symptoms and her son’s challenges with autism. She has volunteered and studied extensively with a nationally recognized meditation and yoga organization known as Isha Foundation for the past seven years and is intent on bringing this practice as a solution to illness.
She is an active member of the Institute of Functional Medicine and the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine. She is a graduate of Columbia University where she majored in Biology and World Religions. She graduated New York University School of Medicine and subsequently completed her residency at Long Island Jewish Hospitals.
