Leonard Kalman, M.D., an oncologist, is deputy medical director and chief medical officer at Miami Cancer Institute, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. He received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Presbyterian-University Hospital, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He then was assistant resident in obstetrics and gynecology at Boston Hospital for Women/Harvard Medical School, and assistant resident in internal medicine at the Hospital of the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed a fellowship in medical oncology at Memorial Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, where he was also a research fellow. Dr. Kalman is Board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
