About

Melissa Chan, MD serves as Medical Director for Ascendant Behavioral Health. Dr. Chan oversees all Medication Management and Ambulatory Detox services for the treatment of substance addiction. This includes treatment for alcohol, benzodiazepines (Valium, Xanax), Opioids (Heroin, OxyContin), Cocaine, combined substances, and prescription medication.
Dr. Chan has extensive experience with inpatient and outpatient Medication Management. She graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine
