Today is Doctor's Day, a national healthcare "holiday" to celebrate the amazing physicians providing care every day to EIRMC's patients. We are grateful to partner with the most experienced Medical Staff in the region. 399 physicians have credentials to treat patients at EIRMC; of those, 385 are board-certified, 99 are double board-certified, 18 and triple board-certified, and 18 are quadruple board-certified!
To our community:
We care deeply about our patients, staff and community. As the situation with COVID-19 continues to unfold, we are taking precautions to reduce the risk of exposure at our Dr. Lee Orthopedics Idaho Falls and Blackfoot locations.
For our patients & visitors-
•We are asking that you only bring one other family member to appointments.
•If you (or anyone in your family) have had a dry cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, or fever within fourteen days please call to rewschedule your appointment.
As our Blackfoot office is located inside the Blackfoot Medical Center they have implemented a new protcol. Any patients entering the center will immediately be screened for a fever and asked if they’ve experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, been in close contact with someone diagnosed with the coronavirus or traveled to an area where there is mass spread of the virus in the last 14 days. If they have any of the above, they are directed to a separate location. This helps limit the chance of exposure to any illness.
We do not want any of our patients to feel like they need to avoid our offices. Putting off care, even for a few weeks, can have serious consequences. If you have concerns about coming in for treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic, please call. We can help answer your questions and determine what is best for your health.
Thank you for your patience. We are all in this together, one powerful step at a time.
Sincerely,
Dr. Robert Lee
