Roger Saldana, M.D., is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon with the Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute and a member of Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 180 physicians in multiple specialties closely aligned with Baptist Health South Florida. He specializes in pediatric sports-related injuries, fractures, limb abnormalities, trauma, spinal deformities and orthopedic care of cerebral palsy, as well as general pediatric orthopedic surgery. Dr. Saldana received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Florida. He completed an internship in general surgery, followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery at Tufts Medical Center and Tufts-affiliated hospitals in Boston. He completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at St. Christopher's Children's Hospital in Philadelphia. He is Board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Saldana has taught first-year medical students and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
