Dr. Sameer Jain is a double board-certified interventional pain physician (American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology and American Board of Anesthesiology). He completed his neurology residency at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia. Following his passion for pain management, he later pursued a fellowship in interventional pain management at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia. During his training he received several honors including “Best researcher" and was also chosen by his peers to be the class representative. Dr. Jain provides comprehensive care for a wide variety of painful conditions of the head, spine, nerves, joints, and muscles by integrating physical therapy, medications and interventional pain procedures. He is highly proficient in minimally invasive pain management procedures including fluoroscopic-guided spine injections, ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal injections, peripheral nerve blocks, regenerative medicine, intrathecal therapy and spinal cord stimulation. Dr Jain has a particular interest in the management of headaches and cancer pain with the employment of interventional pain techniques. He is passionate about the use of neuromodulation devices for the management of chronic pain conditions. During his training he was elected to be the chair of the residents and fellows section of the North American Neuromodulation Society. He has authored several textbook chapters and published peer reviewed research papers on interventional pain management. Additionally, he has been identified as young thought leader in the field and serves on the board of directors for the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN). In his free time he loves to play tennis, chess, try new restaurants and runs a successful non-profit organization in India called “Association for Pain Awareness, Research and Treatment" (A.P.A.R.T.). Dr Jain's goal is to provide targeted individual treatment plans for his patients, with a focus on functional outcomes and quality of life.
