Dr. Bartindale is an otolaryngologist with a special interest in ear disease, hearing loss, and skull base surgery. Dr. Bartindale earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame. He graduated cum laude at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine with honors in bioethics and professionalism. His otolaryngology residency was also completed at Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Bartindale subsequently completed a fellowship in advanced otology and lateral skull base surgery at Puget Sound ENT in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Bartindale has been involved in research with numerous publications and presentations at national meetings. Most of his research has focused on cochlear implants and the management of lateral skull base tumors. He placed in Loyola’s Girgis Resident Research Competition every year during residency. He is committed to providing innovative care for his patients. He has expertise in chronic ear disease, cochlear implants, bone anchored hearing aid placement, acoustic neuroma (vestibular schwannoma) removal, cerebrospinal fluid leak repair, Meniere’s disease, and superior semicircular canal dehiscence syndrome. Dr. Bartindale is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society. This is how we maintain a safe environment for everyone. Thank you!

We are sharing the Grundy County Health Department's update on COVID vaccination for the community. Grundy County Health Department is sharing a COVID-19 Update. 23 hrs · Updated 02/11/2021 Grundy continues to move through Phase 1b, and awaits further direction from IDPH after the 02/10 announcement which adds people to the eligibility list for 1b. There is currently much more demand than supply, and so we ask for the community's patience. Eligible persons may complete an interest survey at www.grundyhealth.com, which is used in planning purposes and to notify individuals who have expressed interest while vaccine is still limited. There is no need to verify submission of the survey, as close to 10,000 people have submitted a survey since mid-January. This phase is expected to last for several months, as we work to vaccinate all who are interested. The below Media Release and Chart can also be found at www.grundyhealth.com. Community members may assist in these efforts by sharing this information with loved ones, friends and congregation members who are not active on Facebook. Similar information is shared on WCSJ each Monday and Thursday at 8:40am.

She says the pandemic has been hard on us all mentally, but it can be especially hard on children who thrive on routine and predictability.
