Amazing test tonight Julie!! I am so proud of you in what you can do. More important is your attitude. Watching your drive and how you learn is humbling. But by far most importantly is your undoubted character.. I only wish I have a tenth as much as your spirit! Tae kwon MW Congrats to the newest green belt in 🐉 DragonLaw🐉
Living in the present allows us to not be held captive by our past or controlled by the fear of the unknown that lies ahead of us. Living positively in the present is the best gift you can give others and yourself.
You can learn a lot about someone by the way they bow. Bowing is an excellent form of communication and exercises humility. It shows love, loyalty, respect, discipline, honor and amongst many other things. For me I think the most important part of the bow is our show of intent. When someone bows to you and you bow back, you are connecting with each other on a level of respect. Bowing gives us the opportunity for us to let go of ourselves, our rank, and our position. It is where we find common ground. We recognize that we are all one. Although it can show power and position by who initiates and finishes the bow.. To me that’s one of the least important reasons of bowing. It is also a recognition of connection and disconnection with the student teacher relationship. Bowing can be a show of gratitude as well as well as a formal hello and goodbye. Etiquette/ protocol. and yes also can be a formal intro before fighting. Most people think about the sensei mentality… That you are bowing to the teacher.. although The bow is partly to respect the teacher, You are bowing to connect to the teacher and then bowing to disconnect. The teacher is just as responsible for the Bow and the humility as the student. If not, more. The student bows to the teacher The teacher now to the student It is in the bow where we recognize that we were all students. Be well

Love yourself first! Yes That’s not selfish That’s respectful. Fill yourself with love and you will have a steady abundance flowing from you or as I sing in class... “Tell me some...thing gooood!” When I walk up and 🎶 to them ... Each student needs to tell me something good that happened throughout the day or something they like about themselves. That’s much harder than you think. At the end of stretching in each class... all students sit eyes closed Indian style and focus on something positive about themselves…next they gingerbread which means lay on the floor arms and legs spread open eyes closed and focus on having an excellent class! The body cannot move Without the mind. The mind cannot move the body properly without A controlled Spirit (emotional body) LOVE YOUR SELF You are worth it.
