We don’t have to watch food insecurity consume America’s families. Unemployment isn’t always the cause of food insecurity, or better yet some families lack transportation or simply the time between jobs to go to the super market. The food is within reach, but we must step up and find our role in ensuring no child goes to bed with an empty stomach! Click the link below to find out how you can give families access to sustainable meals today! https://www.everyarkansan.org/hungerinamerica
Sometimes you get a little messy when you're having fun! Chasing your God-given dream can take some creativity! And we love getting to be creative with the kiddos, playing tic-tac-toe, four square and hopscotch! Every Arkansan
At one of our sites, there is a mom of several kids that receives meals everyday. She recently had foot surgery and wasn't able to move which made it harder for her to come get the food. Over the summer, we built a relationship where she felt comfortable to pray! Pray that for God to be with her and provide for her and her family during this difficult time. It was such a gift to share the hope of Jesus with her and watching her chase her God-given dream!!! Every Arkansan

What happens to a child at the end of the day when their promised resources from school are no longer accessible? Their lunch might be the last meal they eat that day, but it doesnt have to be. Through your support, that gap can be filled and a child can have the nutrition needed to finish their homework and finish the day strong. Our relationships start with a kid, but they go so much deeper than that. Churches are stepping up to start their own after school programs to build relationships and support both kids and parents. Parents now know they have someone in their corner when they need support.
The kids are so eager to give their drawings to Mr. Eric every time he shows up to their neighborhood! It means the world 🌎 to Mr. Eric that they want to share their creativity with him! At Every Arkansan we're all about building long lasting relationships.

Did you know that food insecurity affects 1 in 4 black households and 1 in 5 Latino households? With our Mobile program we go TO the families and bring them meals who may not have the ability to go themselves. It takes all of us to bridge this gap and ensure these kids have access to healthy food no matter their circumstance. TODAY IS THE DAY! Christmas Mall has officially begun! Churches are out here serving, families are being blessed, and God's love is being spread! There is so much joy going around and it couldn't be made possible without you.
There will always be a need for food. Arkansas is ranked #2 in the amount of people going hungry and cannot get assistance from the government. This problem may seem far away but in reality kids everywhere are struggling with food insecurity. If you want to be part of the solution and provide a meal for a kid go to our page below: everyarkansan.org/faces-of-hunger
It is our last day for our mobile present giveaways! This week has been SO amazing! The smile on kids' faces by just a small gift brings so much joy! We are continuously blown away by what God is doing in the lives of others! We hope this Christmas season we can all love others and help each other chase our God-given dream!!!
ONE MORE DAY! Tomorrow is the start of Christmas Mall where churches in the communities will be able to provide families with toys for their kids on Christmas. The Lord has been so good in providing a pathway for the church and community to be blessed.
Our mobile Christmas serving times are the best! Not only do kids get some fun toys, but relationships are built to empower each other! They can feel encouraged to play with their friends and get to show them a little something they got for Christmas.
2 MORE DAYS! We continue to countdown the days until Christmas Mall and there are only TWO days left! We know churches are getting excited and so are we! This couldn't happen without YOU!

It is the week that we celebrate the birth of Jesus! We hope you enjoy this holiday week! When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” Luke 2:13-15

Central Church had their very own first Christmas Mall this year and they were more than excited!they served over 100 kids, providing them with toys, candy, and even some clothes. One of the grandmas picked out toys for her 5 grandchildren she takes care of. She works full time while helping her grandchildren with their schoolwork. She barely had transportation but made sure to make it to Christmas Mall. She was able to shop with Central Church so that her grandkids could have presents Christmas morning. The process that Central Church created started when a family member checked in at their time slot, they were connected with a personal shopper who took them to a table of toys and games their kids might like. They even had goodie bags and stocking stuffers to choose from! Before the families left, they got their gifts wrapped by volunteers and couldn’t wait for the kiddos to open them Christmas morning! This could not be made possible without donations and support and YOU!
IT'S NATIONAL TICKTOCK DAY! While today is mostly created to remind us of the importance of things we haven't finished, we thought we'd celebrate with a different approach to TikTok Day. We wanted to show a few churches of the 16 we partnered with this year to help them have their own Christmas Mall. This is Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church led by Pastor Graham. They had an amazing Christmas Mall! Not only did they serve the 100 kids registered but also over a hundred more that came by word of mouth. They made hotdogs in their back kitchen and passed out the hot meals to the line of cars that were wrapped around the block! Each kid received multiple toys and some even got new bikes that were donated. The Lord provided an abundance of toys, enough for over 300 kids to have Christmas Morning! Thank you for making this possible!

We are partnered with Food for Good, under the enterprise of PepsiCo. Each morning, Food for Good brings meals to our North Little Rock location. At Every Arkansan, we partner with churches that have been building relationships in the community to serve others. Pastor Juan and his wife Saeda at Iglesias de Creciendo En Cristo have been able to provide meals for families and coloring supplies for kids in their community. These 2 little girls always come to our routes and received some of the coloring supply bags. They were so excited and thankful! This is what we love to see - the church serving their communities and build relationships to chase their God-given dreams!

It is Way 16 of the 21 Ways YOU can make an impact in 2021! This is Trinity. She is one of our kiddos at one of our mobile sites and loves coming to our program. Everytime while playing, she would be wearing slippers that scuffed her feet until someone donated new tennis shoes that protected her feet. There is a huge need for shoes in all the communities. So one way to impact others this year is by hosting a shoe drive so that kids like Trinity can play safely as much as she wants. We'd love for you to get involved in getting to provide a kid with a new pair of shoes - for the winter or summertime.

Please be in prayer for the families in our community. The weather here is severe and only getting worse. Many of them have lost heat, water, electricity and may not have much food. Our teams are calling the families to check on them and we are planning on ways to get to them tomorrow to provide food and other essential items. We’ve gotten calls today from families we’ve connected with and one we are trying to find shelter for a family of 8 kids. Please pray for all of the families and our teams as they do all they can to help.

Everywhere we go we see obstacles from a kid struggling in school or acting out because they may not feel well. One factor can be they don't have hygiene supplies. We are able to pass these out as a way to build a relationship with the kids and give them their confidence back. When kids feel confident and energized, they are more inclined to thrive. They start to feel refreshed and clean and ready to tackle the day!

Here are details for Mr. Hal's visitation which is tonight and the service happening tomorrow. Please keep his family in your prayers.
With heavy hearts, we still carry so much joy of celebrating the life of Mr. Hal — a man that loved the Lord with all his heart, and lived it out in every way. We are so thankful for his service to the Arkansas Dream Center, this past decade. If you knew Hal well you knew he was an amazing cook. He had prepared many meals that comforted those experiencing homelessness, that gave security to a kid that didn’t know where his next meal was coming from, and gave joy and conversation to strangers who became lifelong friends. Mr. Hal, not only was a great cook he was such a consistent man. He’d always be there. He loved the people he was able to serve, and he never allowed anything to get in the way. He will be greatly missed! But his legacy lives on in the lives of everyone he met. We hope that we can continue to show up and provide like Mr. Hal always did!

While it’s a little different than before, this is what our after school Little Rock program looks like. We make sure to stay in small groups that are spread out. COVID has restricted some kids going to school or having to do their work online which can cause them to fall behind. We want to make sure they are able to keep up with their work and succeed.

Tears rolled down her eyes.... A young mother of five had been having a hard time providing for her and her children. So flashback to Christmas, Powerhouse of Deliverance blessed her children with toys like bikes from @cityservearkansas HUB. This took a huge weight off of the mom, knowing her kids toys to play with and having supplies to take care of her house. What is a need you might have or know anyone have?
Every week, on the Mobile routes, the team teaches a Bible lesson through visual aids and experiments. This week's lesson demonstrated Moses and the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. To teach it this week, the team did a fun science experiment: 1. They poured some water onto a plate to illustrate the sea 2. They sprinkled some pepper on the water 3. They put a drop of soap over the water and instantly the pepper dispersed. This represents: 1. The huge Red Sea that Moses and the Israelites came across 2. The Egyptians chasing after them to where they were trapped at the sea. 3. God tells Moses to lift his hand over the water and it spreads. This is the story of God protecting and delivering his people from harm. The Top Truth for kids to take away is: GOD PROTECTS HIS PEOPLE
Let's celebrate Dream Day 2021! Everyone has a dream and you are never too old to chase and fulfill your God given dream. Or even guide others to chase theirs'. Dream Day is the day where you can dream and build on your dream and ways to turn it into reality. Here at Every Arkansan, that is our vision - for every Arkansan to chase their God given dream. We help see that happen through our AR Dream Center Mobile and homework programs and through CityServe empowering and resourcing churches to serve their communities. The big question is what is YOUR dream?

Jesus came to save. ⠀ Today is Palm Sunday and we celebrate Palm Sunday as the week ⠀ before the day of Easter - the day we celebrate Jesus rising from the grave.⠀ ⠀ "On the next day, when the large crowd that had come to ⠀ the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, ⠀ they took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, ⠀ and began shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name⠀ of the Lord, indeed, the King of Israel!” ⠀ Jesus, finding a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written: ⠀ “Do not fear, daughter of Zion; behold, your King is coming, ⠀ seated on a donkey’s colt.”⠀ John 12:12-15
