Another year, another birthday! Thank you to my AMAZING staff for this handy dandy tool kit for the office. I've recently had to put my "man skills" to use fixing various things around the office, and I am constantly searching for tools or running next door and asking the kind folks at Goodyear to borrow something. What a thoughtful gift! I hope everyone has a wonderful day, and thanks again to my staff and everyone else who has reached out!

Local police were called to a daycare yesterday for reinforcement where a cranky three year old was resisting a rest!

SO, I was helping my eldest with some math homework the other night. He was stuck on a problem, that I KNEW he knew the answer too. He read the problem to me, looking for my assistance. I gave the old "dad eye brow raise are you serious" look...
Suddenly the answer came to him, and he blurts out "OPE, I had a brain fart"...
I asked him if it stunk...
He gave me the old "son eye roll are you serious DAD look...."

I just want to take a moment to give a HUGE shoutout to my team... January 2020 v January 2021 saw a 300% increase in production. Due to the subarctic temperatures we have had many people call in with broken down/frozen vehicles. One insured, Mr. K T Frog called in asking what he should do about his vehicle that was stuck in his driveway....

It always brings me so much joy, yet also keeps me incredibly humble, when my insureds tell me that I am the best agent they have ever had (especially when they have been on an insurance policy since before I was born). It's those small little compliments that mean more than anything else to me in this business.

One thing we really care about in our office is creating a welcoming and family first environment. Sometimes I have team members that have things come up and they have to bring their littles in to the office. I remember as a child going to my mom's office many times, and everyone there was always super kind and understanding. I've made it a point to have that same atmosphere here. My staff know their children are always welcome to come spend the day with Uncle Drew!
Women and insurance have so much in common... both are expensive, difficult to understand, and what you get is not always guaranteed.
On the flip side, men and whole life policies are SO different... whole life policies eventually mature.
