Board-certified radiologist Ali Badday, MD, is proud to serve the men, women, and children of Los Angeles at DTLA Med, where he has served as clinical director of the sports and diagnostic division since 2017. At DTLA Med, Dr. Badday combines his many passions within medicine to provide an accurate diagnosis and apply the appropriate and latest in sports and regenerative therapies.
Dr. Badday received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia in 2010. While at Drexel, he worked as a clinical research assistant to the University of Pennsylvania Orthopedic Sports Department with focused research on cartilage resurfacing procedures to help restore cartilage related damage. As a result, joint and cartilage preservation became an ongoing passion of his and has turned his interest to the promising advancements in the field of regenerative medicine.
After graduating from Drexel, he completed his training in musculoskeletal radiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama, and a fellowship in interventional pain management at South Bay Pain Doctors in Torrance, California. After completing these fellowships, he practiced as an Assisted Professor with the University of Vermont Medical Center in the musculoskeletal radiology and sports department.
