So I take over for 1 day for the bingo game and bam, we get a winner for the Coverall. I guess I can't really say I brought good luck with me because I'm sure some other players playing are cursing me right now. I won't reveal the winner because I am sure that she will be hiding this bounty from the IRS but I will say she is part of the Karen Michaels office. Congratulations to her and all the other winners throughout the game.
Lastly we need to find the biggest loser. By judging from years past I would say if you have more than 5 opening on your card send it to my email, tim@duarcleanservices.net. I will give everyone a couple of days to get those to me and will announce the winner Thursday morning.

The Biggest Loser has been identified. In one of the worst displays of professional bingo that I've witnessed in all my years of hosting, we had a player end up with 9 open spaces. Fortunately for them in our game it pays to be worst :).
Hopefully things will be a little more normal next spring and we can get the next bingo game started at more of our traditional time. As always thanks for participating in our games!

Snow Forecast -
As some of you know I follow the weather closely since it has a direct affect on our business. Cold and snowy means we could be busy and need to be prepared to get crews to homes in demanding conditions. I don't just turn to the weather channel, I actually study the models and weather charts to form my own forecast and occasionally during a bigger weather event I log on and post what I think will happen on here.
I posted in the beginning of the month that it appeared likely that cold weather would likely start filtering into Maryland late this month and if you have been outside lately I think that came to fruition. Now we have a complex storm system heading our way with the cold in place which means winter weather for us. This is a Miller B setup where a storm weakens out to the west of us (in this case Southern Ohio) and reforms along the Atlantic Coast. Lots of scenarios with these types of setups but I'm going to give you my thoughts on how this plays out.
Sunday we will see snow breakout anywhere between mid morning and early afternoon depending on location. Snow will continue most of the day before starting to mix with sleet and freezing rain at night. This mixture will be light and continue through Monday morning but will eventually turn back to snow which will continue on and off through Tuesday morning. I'm expecting wide spread accumulations between 6 to 10 inches by the time this wraps up. This is actually a pretty conservative forecast as the potential for this storm is actually much greater than what I am thinking at the moment. The 6 to 10 I believe is the floor and feel pretty confident we will at minimal receive that amount. If things change with new model runs starting this evening I will update accordingly.

THE COLD IS COMING
Based off the long term weather models an actic outbreak could start affecting the Mid-Atlantic by the end of the 3rd week of this month. Now may be a good time to double check your outside water spigots to make sure they are off and drained. If you live in a condo you may want to call your property management company if you know a unit isn't occupied with no heat source, especially if it's a top unit. Sprinkler lines that run above those units in the attics are prone to freezing when we get cold snaps.
We can never predict the full extent of the freeze but it's always best to be prepared for the worst.
