Durotech is proud to announce the completion of the Community VFD, Harris Fort Bend County ESD 100 Stephen R. Fowler Training Facility. This state of the art training facility is home to an EMS training center, a three story burn tower, a search and rescue building, and a helipad with IFR capabilities. The new training facility will give firefighters and EMT’s an opportunity to learn scenarios they will likely see when responding to live emergency situations.

On January 6, 2020 Sheldon ISD held a ribbon cutting for the new C.E. King High School which started with a Welcome from Dr. King Davis, Superintendent of Schools and included remarks from Latricia Archie, Board of Trustees President and Dr. Keith Brooks, Principal.
The impressive three-story high school entrance is striking and features an abundance of natural light. This beautiful facility includes collaboration spaces and classrooms designed for career training. Academics include Business and Industry, Agriculture, Manufacturing and Construction, Public Service, Human Services, STEAM, and an Early College High School. The high school complex has a 10,000 seat stadium, indoor practice field, baseball/softball fields, track and tennis courts.
Durotech held a "Topping Out" ceremony for the Splendora ISD New Elementary School to celebrate the last beam being placed atop the structure. The $22.9 million dollar, 102,000 sq.ft. building is scheduled to be completed September 2020.
Tuesday, November 12th Spring Branch ISD held a ground breaking ceremony for the Landrum Middle School Replacement. Landrum Middle School originally opened in 1956. The Landrum Middle School project represents the first replacement of a traditional middle school under the bond plan. Landrum Middle School and KIPP Courage students and faculty will remain on their campus during construction as a new, three-story educational building is erected on site. First-phase construction will begin in late December; new building move-in is scheduled for June 2021.
Durotech teamed up with Cre8 Architects for the 2019 33rd Annual AIA Sandcastle competition. This year more than 50 teams competed and we won “Best Team Signage” and “Most Epic Fail.” Thanks to everyone that volunteered their time and hard work.

Durotech is proud to announce the completion of Pearland Fire Station 8. It was an honor to work alongside the City of Pearland and Joiner Architects to construct this Fire Station to help improve response times for a community that is rapidly growing. The station includes dorm rooms, restrooms with showers, a kitchen/dining area, a day room, a Captain's office and Lieutenant's office, an EMS decontamination area and an exercise room along with storage areas for bunker gear & medical supplies.
On Wednesday, December 16, 2020 the City of Groves held a groundbreaking ceremony for a New Fire Station. The new station will include 6 dorm rooms, restrooms with showers, a kitchen dining area, a day room, a watch office, a training room, offices, personnel and equipment decontamination areas, and storage areas for bunker gear and supplies.
On Wednesday, December 9, 2020 Willis ISD held a groundbreaking ceremony for the New Elementary School No. 6. The two-story campus is expected to house 850 kindergarten through fifth grade students. This school is the final project from the 2015 Bond and will open Fall 2021.
Landrum Middle School celebrated the project topping out on August 14, 2020. The topping out ceremony marks a milestone in construction and signifies the last steel beam being placed atop the structure.

On December 3, 2020 The City of Pearland held a groundbreaking for the new Fire Station 4 and Shari D. Coleman Animal Shelter and Adoption Center. The new Fire Station No. 4, which will be located adjacent to the current Fire Station No. 4, will feature new and modern amenities to support the full-time firefighter crews, including living and sleeping quarters, office space, and decontamination areas. The Shari D. Coleman Animal Shelter & Adoption Center will replace the current shelter located on Old Alvin. This shelter will increase capacity, and feature amenities, such as dog runs and meet-and-greet rooms.
