We here at Pulse Fitness are a people centered fitness center. At the heart of everything we do is the people we work with. That’s why we try to build a strong community around the world of movement and fitness and provide group fitness classes centered around you. We’re not so concerned with the number on the scale or the tape measure around your waist, we want to bring you together with others into a classroom to move, whether you’re into cardio mixes, Zumba, or yoga, we want to get you into a room and start you moving, which will raise your heart rate. This strengthens your heart and other muscles, increases your lung capacity, burns calories, kicks those endorphins up to bring the good feelings, and brings you more clarity and focus.
In our mission, Pulse Fitness, states that we want to create a journey that changes the body from inside out, starting with the heart, as a muscle and a soul. Our classes are for everybody and everybody regardless of where you’re currently at in your fitness journey. We tailor our classes to fit every level by offering you alternative levels of movement to accommodate your body that day. We provide a fun and community centered environment to move in so that you never feel like exercise is drudgery.
It’s important to find a source for movement in your everyday life. As a whole the human race has moved from a nomadic people always on the move, hunting and gathering, to a farming community, where much movement was still used to plow fields, plant, and harvest those foods through the years, as time went on more and more people have managed to work themselves into positions of leisure and rest through the advent of technology and office jobs, many of us don’t do more than walking to and from our cars, which causes plenty of damage to our bodies and our hearts.
