It is by helping each other endure that we all come back stronger.
Though flu season has arrived, with its own challenges, we can all do our part to weather it together. Here are some reminders on how to keep yourself and others safe during these times:
Encourage mask wearing and social distancing
It’s a fact that both COVID-19 and the flu can be transmitted through airborne particles from coughing, sneezing, or speaking. To protect yourself and those around you, maintain a distance of at least six feet from others when you’re in public, and wear a mask.
Use hand sanitizer before entering and after exiting an establishment
While you’re out and about, make it a habit to clean your hands with hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol before and after shopping. Wipe down surfaces you come into contact with, such as shopping baskets, cart handles, and payment keypads, before and after using them.
