Job Description
Requires strong computer and research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal abilities and project coordination experience.
Successful candidates provide high-level administrative support and work well with all levels of internal management and staff, chamber members and board members.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Performing office and administrative duties to assist President/CEO
• Screening calls, managing calendars, meeting and event arrangements
• Preparing materials for meetings such as agenda and minutes
• Chamber Members relations as required
• Network and establish relationships with community groups to support EVHCC initiatives and mission.
• Produce information and outreach materials by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, transmitting text, data and graphics.
• Update social media outlets with relevant information about events, updates, and resources
• Work closely with the chamber staff to develop social media campaigns that help to achieve chamber-marketing goals.
• Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends
• Attend all networking and signature events
• Able to run errands for preparation of networking/signature events
Desired Qualifications
• Spanish bilingual strongly preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an office setting or a combination of education and experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with Chamber specific programs and software
• Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Friendly and professional demeanor
