We have a state of the art veterinary facility which is clean, comfortable, and efficient. Call us to schedule an appointment and we will find a time that is convenient for you.Once a year, you should take your pet in for a check-up. This will include a full physical exam, and may include teeth and gum cleaning if needed. Dr. Mark Hohne will check the health of your pet from head to tail, and you will be very happy you came to East Valley Veterinary Clinic for service. Bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our vet clinic. It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. If you have something like this, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. Dr. Hohne can still work with whatever information you have. In some circumstances, Dr. Hohne will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery. Veterinary Technician East Valley Veterinary Clinic is looking for a full time, experienced technician to join our team! We are a busy, three doctor practice, providing exemplary care and customer service in a very team oriented environment. Candidates should have a strong blend of technical and client service skills, with at least 2 years of experience in the field. We are located just outside of Sugar House and minutes from downtown. Hourly rate is based on prior veterinary experience. We offer a signing bonus, competitive wage commensurate to experience, medical benefits, 401K, continuing education, and pet benefits. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Dental Cleaning Anesthesia Monitoring Vaccines Blood Draws and IV Catheter Placement Patient Care Patient TPR / History Surgical preparation and assisting Injections (Subcutaneous) Team player Great customer service Pharmacy Laboratory work Radiography High School Diploma required. CVT or LVT preferred but not required. Availability needed between the hours of 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. M-F and some weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. No on-call hours. Must have reliable transportation. Need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs. COVID-19 considerations: Selected applicants will have an initial interview by phone.
