This week is NATIONAL VET TECH APPRECIATION WEEK!!! 🐶🐱🐭🐰🦎🐢🌡💉🩺🐾
We’d like to take the time to not only thank each and every vet tech here, but also ALL of our team members from friendly receptionists, technicians, assistants, our surgery team, and our wonderful kennel technicians. Without this great group of people we would not be able to provide the exceptional care we do for all of our loved patients! 💕🐾💕
Veterinary Technicians are highly qualified but all too often under appreciated. Any one vet tech serves as a care giver and playmate, an educator, a nurse, a phlebotomist, a cat wrangler and dog hugger, a groomer, a nutritionist, a physical therapist, a lab tech, a life saver, and a mind easer... just to name a few. At any given moment, vet techs are performing 10 jobs at the same time to save and care for your loved pets. They do this with a smile on their faces, while holding their bladders because there’s no time to pee, and hungry because they missed their break - while being peed, pooped, or bled on.
We would not be who we are today or provide the care we do without OUR TEAM!!!
So next time you’re in, remember to thank a vet tech! 💕

Join us Saturday, December 19th from 10:00am-2:00pm for a FANTASTIC festive fundraiser!
For a $10 donation to our “Tyson’s Fund”, you can get your pets pictures taken with Santa Paws (and leave with a printed picture as well). We will have Santa and a helper elf present, as well as props for the pups (or other critters). This event is not just limited to dogs, last year we had a bundle of ferrets stop by! - but please bring cats or other small animals in a carrier as the doors will be opening often.
This event has always been a great hit, and we look forward to this years Santa Paws as well!
COVID-19: This event WILL be held inside our lobby for pet safety reasons, although some people/pets may need to wait outside for a short period of time as social distancing will be practiced. Guests are not required to wear masks (although encouraged) and all of our staff will be wearing face masks. Please let us know if specific requirements are needed and we will be happy to help!
