What strange times we live in..... St Patrick’s day 2020 with no parade..... Tom Brady No longer a patriot........ A non-zombie virus has the world on lock down, as toilet paper and hand sanitizer are being hoarded. Bars closed.....so much for waiting for this to blow over. First and foremost, to all our brothers and sisters in the bar and food service who are affected by this you have our sympathies. People depend on their jobs/paychecks to put food on their table and pay their bills. Can’t imagine how this is affecting you. Second to those that work hospitals, urgent cares, nursing homes, first responders, etc ....I hope the measures the state is taking help keep you, and those under your care safe and prevent any surge that could put you and your colleagues under strain with insane work weeks and being over capacity if this got out of hand. Anyway now to serious business. Thankfully we are a business that does mostly take out and delivery. While my staff and I will miss seeing many faces that come and eat in for the next few weeks it’s not the end of the world. Village will survive and still be providing turning out the food. In order to deal with this I’m staffing extra drivers to try and help with any increase in delivery. I’m doing my best to keep all my employees working. So during this first week with the new changes I will closely monitoring overall business. If any changes need to be made (hours of operation,etc) I’ll announce it next week.
