At Eastman & Vempati, MD, PC, we consider it both a great joy and responsibility to care for children. Most of us are parents ourselves, so we strive to be understanding and available to the families we are privileged to serve. We are honored that you have chosen us as your child’s primary medical provider and are confident that you will be pleased with the quality of care and service that we can provide you and your family.
Please be advised if the office is sending you to a site to have COVID testing completed these sites are seeing a increase in patients. With this increase a lot of testing centers are taking 5-7 days for results. The office will contact you with results once these are available to us. During the waiting of the results your child is to remain quarantined until a negative result is given. Please be patient and mindful that staff is returning all calls as quickly as possible.

We ask that if you have any pending COVID testing you are to remain at home, please do not come into the office for any appointments. If your child has any symptoms and you are scheduled for a well exam you will need to reschedule until the child is well, if you or your child has been exposed to anyone with a positive COVID test we will ask for you to reschedule as well.
Our children whom are coming into the office are all well and symptom free. We newborns that are vulnerable and need to keep our office safe for these patients. If you have any questions regarding an upcoming appointment your child may have please contact the office.

He graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine and did his internship and residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Eastman is a Board-Certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
To expedite your first appointment, please arrive a few minutes early to complete registration forms so that we have all the necessary information to treat your child. Starting Monday, December 14, the Macomb County Health Department will relocate its COVID-19 drive-through testing site to the former site of the Baker College Auto Lab at 34401 S. Gratiot Ave. in Clinton Township. Prior to the relocation, COVID-19 testing was offered in the parking lot of the former Macomb County Juvenile Court Building in Mount Clemens.
Testing will continue to be offered Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. No appointment is necessary and individuals without symptoms of COVID-19 can be tested.

● 1 in 5 people with a trauma- or stress-related disorder
● 1 in 10 people who had seriously considered suicide in the past month
