NFLPA asking teams to change all fields to natural grass
Starting Monday, we will have single digit temps. If we don't get rain, try to water new sod AND established lawns 24-48 hours prior to a hard freeze to help protect your lawns. Wet soil acts as insulation for your roots. If the ground is dry, the roots are more likely to freeze.
The single most important step in guaranteeing the survival of newly installed sod in the Winter is to make sure it gets watered. Never let newly installed sod dry out, especially in the winter. A dry freeze is very damaging. Moisture protects in cold temperatures.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Keep records of task performed
• Mowing multiple sod varieties
• General preventative maintenance of production equipment
• Maintaining mowers and greasing daily if needed
• Performs manual work to include stacking sod, stacking pallets, sprigging and seeding
• Communicating effectively with farm managers and co-workers
• General Knowledge of complex power equipment such as farm type tractors with attached bat-wing mowers, front end loaders, various types of trucks and trailers, weed eaters, chainsaws and other grounds maintenance/farm equipment
Experience/Education : FARM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Must be hardworking and reliable, self-motivated, willingness to get the job done and work independently.

Our Heartland Supreme Fescue seed is A-List approved, certified, and in stock at our sod stores. We're open until 5PM today if you want to Spring time overseed your lawn. Available in 5lbs, 25lbs, and 50lbs bags.
Bermuda is still mostly dormant, so if you're seeing a lot of green, it's most likely weeds. If you're a DIY'er, stop by one of our sod stores today to get your pre-emergent, spot treatment weed control, and/or fertilizer to take advantage of the rain.
