ECM scanned multiple floors of a Manhattan office building after completion of an interior demolition. Scanning was done at close range intervals, capturing all sides of the remaining structural elements, piping and ductwork. Once processed, the data provided an accurate as-built 3D point cloud model for clash detection.

This week, ECM is performing a 3D Scan of General Marine boat hulls for owner Stacey Raymond. We are using the Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence #LASScanner and #SpatialAnalyzer software to define contour and details of several hulls. This data will be used for generating 3D models of selected boat designs. As for Jon and the dog, they became the best of friends. 😁😉

New York City’s first municipal airport, the site is now part of the National Gateway Recreation area. ECM was tasked with scanning the former powerhouse building and adjacent pump station. A detailed Revit model along with the scan data was provided to serve as a digital record of the building.
