Laura was born and raised in Lawrenceburg, TN, but moved to Birmingham AL as a teenager. There she graduated from Samford University in Business. Prior to, joining our practice in February, she worked in the financial industry for over 12 years. Nowadays, here at the office she works diligently as our Administrative and Marketing Assistant.
Furthermore, Laura has been married to her husband John for 22 years. They have two lovely teenage daughters Hannah and Evie. She enjoys photography, traveling, and spending time with her family.

This casserole is great for large gatherings and is always a topic of conversation. Maegan enjoys the memories this recipe brings from her first holidays away from her family, and reminds her of the military friends who later became family.

In celebration of Thanksgiving, we are posting the office staff’s favorite thanksgiving dishes.
Starting with Carrie-Beth's cornbread dressing recipe that her mother has used for years and tastes just like her grandmother's cornbread dressing. Carrie-Beth's copy of the recipe is from Southern Living, It’s well-worn, but that's a good thing!
The cooking time and temp for the dressing once placed in the pan to bake is “cut off” from the recipe and the baking time may vary. However, Carrie-Beth usually bakes at 350-375 degrees for 30 minutes or until nicely set and desired browning occurs on top. Also, in her grandmother’s version, she would add shredded turkey for a true turkey and dressin’ combo.
It’s appropriate that National Time Management Month is the shortest month of the year. This February, let’s find time to talk.
