In celebration of Thanksgiving, we are posting the office staff’s favorite thanksgiving dishes. Starting with Carrie-Beth's cornbread dressing recipe that her mother has used for years and tastes just like her grandmother's cornbread dressing. Carrie-Beth's copy of the recipe is from Southern Living, It’s well-worn, but that's a good thing! The cooking time and temp for the dressing once placed in the pan to bake is “cut off” from the recipe and the baking time may vary. However, Carrie-Beth usually bakes at 350-375 degrees for 30 minutes or until nicely set and desired browning occurs on top. Also, in her grandmother’s version, she would add shredded turkey for a true turkey and dressin’ combo.
