Dr. Kingsley is a medical oncologist-hematologist and one of the founding members of Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada (CCCN), where he has treated patients with cancer and serious blood disorders for more than 27 years. He has authored numerous publications and continues to be actively involved in clinical research at CCCN.
Dr. Kingsley is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Touro University Nevada and the University of Nevada School of Medicine, and has been teaching medical students and residents for over 20 years. He serves as a board member at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and Nathan Adelson Hospice. Through his involvement with Nathan Adelson Hospice, Dr. Kingsley facilitated participation in the Medicare Care Choices Model as a referring provider between the facility and CCCN. The model will improve the quality of care for patients with terminal diagnoses. Dr. Kingsley has been a member of a rock and roll band with several other physicians for more than 20 years, and he organized the “Serenades of Life” fundraiser to benefit Nathan Adelson Hospice, which he has continued to produce and direct since 1995. Over the years, the Serenades of Life concert has raised more than $500,000 to the benefit of those families in need. Now in its 21st year, Serenades of Life has become a community staple and a major fundraiser for the non-profit facility.
Additionally, he is an active member of the Nevada Cancer Research Foundation’s NCI Community Oncology Research Program and has a major role in the clinical research performed at CCCN. He is the Principle Investigator of several clinical trials and sits on the Research Executive Committee at CCCN. He has served as past President of the Clark County Medical Society and past President of the Nevada State Medical Association.
Over the years, Dr. Kingsley has received many awards including the Harold Lee Feikes Physician of the Year award in 2011. The award is the highest accolade that peers in the Clark County Medical Society can bestow, and honors those who have performed outstanding community service beyond the call of duty. He has also received the Governor’s Points of Light Award, the Humanitarian Award and Health Care Hero Award from the Nevada Business Magazine, Top Doctors by Vegas Seven, Las Vegas Life, Desert Companion, and Vegas Inc., and was among one of the Best Doctors in America by Best Doctors, Inc
