The lawsuit alleges that the church covered child sex abuse perpetrated by a former priest. Although this abuse occurred while our client was young, it has had negative ramifications on his mental health for the past decades. Eisenberg, Cutt, Kendell & Olson Files Child Sex Abuse Cover-Up Suit Against Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City
ABC4 interviewed our firm’s client, Guy Platt, on “The Justice Files” in regards to his case against the Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City. Our firm is proud to stand up on behalf of Mr. Platt, who was horrifically sexually abused and assaulted when he attended the second grade at Kearns-St. Anne’s Catholic School. He told ABC4 that, at the time, he was unaware his abuser, James Rapp, was a Catholic priest teaching at Judge Memorial Catholic High School.
