It's Wine Wednesday! Stop by El Roco Bottleshop and find your new favorite or just pick the perfect bottle to gift that helpful neighbor for Christmas.
"You mix a hell of a Caucasian..." The Caucasian, or White Russian is a classic cocktail. Do you know how to make your own?
You'll need ice, a glass (lowball glasses are the perfect size.) and three basic ingredients: Vodka, Kahlua Coffee Liqueur, and Cream. (I recommend Half & Half )
Most recipes call for 2 parts Vodka, 1 part Kahlua, 1 part cream all poured over ice and stirred.
I've found that this is a drink that instills personal preferences in all who partake in it. Some people like equal parts of all three ingredients, some like more Kahlua and some prefer more cream. For me the perfect mix involves equal parts Vodka and Kahlua with just a dash of cream.
I recommend starting at an equal parts ratio and adjusting from there.
If you're comfortable modifying the classic recipe try it with vanilla vodka, or Bailey's Irish Cream!

Our bar's regular hours will once again be:
Monday-Wednesday: 3:00pm-12:00am.
Thursday-Saturday: 3:00pm-2:00am.
Sunday: Closed
Christmas Eve we will be open from 12:00pm-5:30pm.
Christmas Day we will be closed.
Join us in raising a glass to the friends and family that can't be with us this Christmas Eve. We're opening the bar early at 12:00 so stop by for a shot, a drink, and some free Christmas cheer.
Though there is no dress code, we're looking forward to seeing your ugly sweaters, nice holiday ties and cute Christmas dresses!
As many of you have already seen El Roco Bar will be closing at the end of this month. We want to assure you that the spirit of El Roco won't disappear. The Rock Bottleshop will still be here with all of your favorite beers, wines, and liquors!
We're throwing one last party and we want you to join us! Saturday Jan 30th, help us celebrate 69 years serving in Grand Forks.

Just a reminder, for the last time ever El Roco Bar opens its doors at 3PM today.
All day long we have $3.00 Domestics, $3.00 Rails, $4.00 Pounders/Microbrews and All Other liquors are priced at just $4.00!
