We would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about ourselves so you know who you are working with. We are Robert and Jennifer Shamy, proud owners of Elegant Hardwood Floors. Robert is native to Salt Lake City and is an avid fly-fisherman and outdoorsman. Robert has been in the hardwood floor industry since 1993 and has done everything from floor installation, sanding, finishing, and job supervision. Jennifer moved throughout the mid-west and south while growing-up, finding her way to Salt Lake City to work on her Ph.D. Our family is completed by Robert’s son Nick, who is following in his father’s footsteps and becoming a great fly-fisherman. In the spring of 2005 we realized a family dream and purchased Elegant Hardwood Floors, which has been in existence since 1998. With Robert’s experience in the industry, Jennifer’s accounting and marketing knowledge, and both of our diligent work-ethics, we knew that we could run a smart business by producing superior hardwood floors at an affordable price and with personable service. Along with our great crew, we have been meeting our clients’, and our own, high standards.
